almost packed...definitely ready to go.

so i should have taken pictures of all the stuff we had laying out in the guest bedroom...but i didn't. either way, it was a whole lot of stuff. i'm quite proud of myself, and i've thrown out a good amount of stuff....a couple of pairs of shoes, a shirt here, my sweatpants! (i go nowhere without my sweatpants. i'm going to have to deal with pajama pants instead....it's sad.), some other things as well. i haven't tried weighing my bag yet (lufthansa allows two fifty-pound bags)--mom's scale is broken. i could make lots of jokes there (maybe not directed at mom so much...), but i won't.

we're (and by we're i mean my mother is) having a joint going-away party/it's georgia vs. south carolina game-day...the latter i don't really care too much about. i'll cheer for them, go dawgs, but i definitely won't be sitting in front of the tv screaming at it. it's mostly the fam coming, along with the balls and clay, molly collins, kacie and josh (my brother's roommate, not the josh that kac used to be associated with). it should be fun i suppose.

anyway...i guess that's all for now. hopefully, i'll get the rest of everything packed. i think i'm almost done. mostly just little stuff: shoes (actually those are kind of a big deal), my straightener on sunday, packing my duffel bag, getting an extra pair of clothes in case my bag gets lost (knock on wood)....you know. little stuff.

packing...

i've come to hate packing. it's just suck a hassle. over the last day, i've packed up everything from my room in robert's apartment and brought it home, unpacked, and now it's time to pack again. that's a whole lot of packing. i don't even know where to start. especially since it's already in the 50s in edinburgh. and this isn't like a weekend trip....i'm packing for six months. hard.
